GCZ Fan Project
Football is not just a "beautiful game" – it also has huge value for society. Perhaps because it is more than just a sport, but also an arena where social issues are played out. Topics such as exclusion, addiction, violence and sexism are ubiquitous both in the game itself and in fan culture. But being a fan is about solidarity, creativity and social learning too.
With its fan scenes, GCZ is also Switzerland's biggest youth club and its fan project is designed to promote dialogue and networking between fans, the club, safety and security officers, fan liaison officers, the police and political figures.
